7 LUXURIOUS, MUST-SEE WEDDING VENUES IN AND AROUND SYDNEY.
Planning your wedding I’m sure is already a daunting task, finding a venue, photographer, florist, dress, stylist, the list goes on. So I’ve compiled a nice short list of venues for you to check out to make it a bit easier! These are some of my favourite venues to shoot as a wedding photographer over the years. They are unmatched in terms of service, hospitality, not to mention every venue on this list has amazing facilities and views to die for.
Let’s get started with…
1. PASADENA, CHURCH POINT.
Boasting stunning waterfront views; situated right on the Pittwater, Pasadena remains a top favourite wedding venue to date. Operating as a cafe/restaurant during the day, Pasadena Church Point has a lot to offer; most importantly, space. This Spanish-influenced boathouse on the Pittwater boasts space for 150-180 guests indoors with room remaining for you and your people to enjoy the dance floor!

2. DUNES, PALM BEACH.
In the deep Northern Beaches, you will find Dunes Palm Beach. An understated venue with an alfresco appeal, Dunes only compliments its location among the natural beauty of the Northern Beaches. Only 100m from the ocean your guests, up to 140 seated and 200 cocktail-style, can enjoy the sea-breeze and ocean air and enjoy a most relaxed wedding affair, as per their claim ‘shoes not essential’.

3. REDLEAF, WOLLOMBI.
Northwest of Sydney, Redleaf Wollombi is a gorgeous property set back on an estate. Redleaf’s ideal level of seclusion guarantees an intimate ceremony for you and your closest family and friends. A remote situation means less noise and more space to enjoy. Inside the stunning homestead, reminiscent of a countryside Tuscan villa, you’ll find luxurious accomodation (sleeps 12) with large, fireside living spaces. Outside, the acreage is your oyster. There are so many picturesque spaces to choose from to hold your wedding celebrations. Professional tip: you can dedicate different spaces for different parts of the day, enjoy canapés and cocktails against the homestead, followed by a pondside sit-down dinner. With so much space at your disposal, Redleaf offers a dynamic experience; making it so easy for newlyweds to dial up the celebrations and party long or keep your moments intimate.

4. MILTON PARK COUNTRY HOUSE, BOWRAL.
Tucked away in Bowral NSW, only 1.5 hours from Sydney’s CBD you and your guests can lose the traffic lights and busyness at this green getaway. The Country house is seated among woodlands and plenty of green space for your guests to enjoy. Seasonally, the best time to book your wedding day is Autumn or Spring; where the greenery really shines with fall colours or spring blooms. Milton Park Country House reflects early English architecture and leans into an English-countryside resort. There are plenty of remarkable spaces for your bridal portraits and photographs with your wedding party, as well as adequate spaces to host your wedding ceremony.

Now, this is a new one to me. I had never heard of Olivello until this year, and boy what a pleasant surprise to discover. On the edge of Sydney, Olivello is a slice of Italy. Modern Italian dining in a spacious restaurant with everything you could ask for.
