Do you offer video services?
I am a stills wedding photography service!
I get asked a lot if I provide video services — and I understand why, I used to offer video services, however I was finding that when I divide my efforts to curate beautiful galleries as well as create gorgeous wedding videos for my couples, something was suffering. Either my still images suffered, the video products suffered or my mental health suffered. Doing both was simply not sustainable so I’ve decided to double down as a wedding photographer and stills service only — at least for now.
It’s not all bad news though — since I’ve stepped off video creation, I’ve been able to make some great connections and have awesome relationships with wedding videographers who are incredible at what they do.

Will you travel for my wedding?
Of course! What wedding photographer doesn’t travel? Overseas, interstate or rural NSW, doesn’t bother me. I love to go wherever my couples are and where their heart calls them. Some venues like BoxGrove Bathurst are great places to escape the city and have a remote-ish wedding celebration in the beautiful Australian countryside. Or somewhere like Wallalong or Redleaf in the Hunter Valley are stunning locations to be married and are only a couple hours out from Sydney.
International travel is always on my list, I love to escape the boarders of Australia and see other cultures, coastlines and cuisines.
Of course, travel does have some caveats like fees for accomodation. These are kept modest and manageable. It is not my job to burden you with my hotel expenses, but hey if you would like to sponsor a trip to the penthouse at the Hilton, I wouldn’t get in your way!

Do you shoot film photographs? (Why?)
Absolutely! Isn’t it crazy that a long-dead practice of film photography has had such a deep and pervasive renaissance? So much so that even non-photography, consumer-folk have taken an interest or at least noticed it’s resurgence. There is something extremely strange and special about film photographs; there is a manual labor in the process and an intent behind each frame. We are long past the days of ‘limitation’ in photography, these days you can shoot almost an infinite amount of images to an SD card, and store even more on a laptop. Depending on your film, 120 or 35mm, you either get 10, 16 or 36 images to a roll of film. It’s a challenging limitation that always pays off!
Who is your service for?
My wedding photography service is for those who are pursuing a wedding day that is timeless, elegant, sexy and fashionable.
You don’t care if you’re 30 minutes late to your ceremony unless you and your bridal party look as beautiful as possible.
Should I do an engagement session?
There’s no hard and fast rule for booking an engagement photoshoot. However, spending an hour or two in front of the camera getting to know your wedding photographer before your wedding can make a big difference. After all, you’ll be spending lots of time together during the day and having that hour or two before can make you feel more comfortable for the photos.
All I really want to do is be a fly on the wall while you guys engage with each other, hang out and do things that you love to do together. If you love to go have pasta together; let’s do to your favourite restaurant, if you love to make coffee at home and relax in the sun; let’s do that.
Whatever your relationship thrives on and brings you both joy is what I’m chasing and is what will make for the best experience you can have.
